CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LADY EAGLE SOCCER
TEAMS! This past
weekend the Varsity finished 3rd in the Rebel Cup. They
finished the weekend with 3 wins and 1 loss. The ladies opened up the
tournament with a loss to undefeated Pflugerville Hendrickson 2-1. They
then defeated Austin Crockett 10-0, Canyon
Lake 7-0 and host Buda
Hays in the 3rd place game 4-0. This brings the girls record
to 6 wins 1 loss and 2 ties. The girls’ next action will be this weekend
at the Governor's cup here in Georgetown.
Games and times are as follows: Thursday vs. Deer Park at 4:00 p.m.; Friday vs. #2
nationally ranked Coppell at 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday vs. Brenham at 10:00
a.m. All games will be played in the
stadium here on campus.
The JV team went undefeated in the Rebel cup as well. They defeated Buda Lehman 5-0, St. Michael's 10-0 and host Buda Hays 2-0 to continue their perfect record on the season with 7 wins 0 losses 1 tie. Their next action will be next tonight here at home against Leander at 6:00 p.m. to open up district play. Congratulations to all Lady Eagle Soccer players for an impressive weekend.
